Special Assembly
Special Assembly Hi blogger, as you may know in Christchurch a tragedy has happened, so our school had a special assembly to show respect to everyone in Christchurch. We made cards to send out to all the people who helped in Christchurch and also all the other people that were a part of it. I wrote two messages, one for the hospital and the other one was for the Linwood mosque. Also on Monday we had a special assembly. We planted a kowhai tree by our friendship bench and a person from each class lay all the cards down. We chose a kowhai tree because it represents our school. I was chosen to lay it down for our class I felt honoured to be able to lay a card down. Everyone from our school made a card to send to the people who work and live in Christchurch. Also we had a minute of silence to show that we care. New Zealand has helped a lot and so far we have raised $8,852,439.40.
