Hobsonville point run

Hobsonville point run Hi bloggers, on Sunday Some kids from our school running club went to the Hobsonville run. There were 3 different runs that you could do there was the 3 km,  5 km and 10 km. I did the 5 km. Amazing Ms Sands organised the run. We had to wear school sports gear. Everyone got a orange bag with some snacks, a note pad and pen, also it had a chip that you had to put on your shoe to record your time. I took 36 minutes. I also came 17th out of 59 females. Once you finished you got a medal and there were lots of food stalls such as sausage sizzles, bake sales, ice cream and there were even burgers. I really enjoyed the day but it was really tiring. I think that our school did really well. Here are some photos from the day. 5 km runners Everyone at the end

Letter box drop

👍Anti - bullying Letterbox drop👍 Hi bloggers, on Friday afternoon the Senior Syndicate did a letterbox drop. If you don't know what a letterbox drop is, it is when you put small notes in someones letterbox we wrote anti-bullying and kindness notes.  We wrote small notes on T-shirts made out of paper.  Two of the messages I wrote were 'Stand strong and don't let anyone bring you down'. The other message I wrote was, 'So many languages and a smile speaks them all - keep smiling and the world smiles with you.' On Friday we were made into four groups and we walked the streets and put the letters in the letterboxes hoping to spread joy and kindness.  I think this was a really good idea because it made people's day. We had already done this before and it did lots of impact because we had people send messages and one person called the school to say how happy they were. So I am hoping it goes the same way this time.  Here are some photos of the cards we did...
