Image
Cross C ountry Zones Hi bloggers, only today me and some others from my school went to Cross Country Zones. There were 6 different races including year four boys and girls, year five boys and girls and the the year six boys and girls. I was in the year six girls race. I came 9th out of 26 other girls. There was one very challenging part of the run which is called killer hill. My favourite part of the run was the end because it was flat and easy to run. We ran three laps of Monte Cecilia park. When we got back to school we all got an ice block and went to class. Here are some photos from cross country.

๐Ÿƒ Cross Country๐Ÿƒ Hi bloggers, two weeks ago we had cross country. There were four different activities we did they were skipping, running, obstacle course and kicking goals. For each of these activities we a letter written on our arm. Since I am a senior we had to look after the younger kids in the school. The year sixes ran last. For the run I came second, last time I came third so I am really proud that I came second this time. My favourite thing would definitely be skipping because lately I have learnt how to do a lot of new things. A little down side about the skipping was that I was in bare feet and I hit my toe which made it go a little purple. My second favourite thing was the run because I really liked being able to challenge my self into getting a higher placing.  Before cross country we signed up for a site called fun run where we fund raise money for a canopy over our court. I raised $240. Also with all the money you raise you get to order prizes. Here are...

Cultural art

Cultural art Hi bloggers, for the past week all the classes have been working on a piece of art. Every class is basing it on a different culture. My class is designing a Tongan boy and a Latin American girl. When we were planning everyone in the class was given a little piece of paper shaped like a person. We went on our Chromebooks to investigate about what that culture wears and then we chose an outfit and coloured it onto our piece of paper.  After that the class voted on which top they liked the most then what bottom they liked the most and we put them together to create one new person. We then drew them onto big pieces of wood and painted them. So far I think that all of the people are looking amazing so far most of them are pretty close to finishing.  Once they are finished we will cut them out and line them up along the fence. So far I have really enjoyed painting them.  I can't wait to see what they look like when they are all finished and up along th...

It was around 8.15 when most of the senior syndicate was heading to Mt Ruapehu one of the best experiences we were probably ever going to have at school. When we were finding our gear and packing we could tell that it was getting very close and the excitement was rising and rising. We were only weeks then days away from camp. I was feeling ecstatic the fact of skiing with my friends was amazing. I was hoping for good weather but sadly it wasn't how I was hoping for it to be but everyone made the most of it. The bus drive was going to be long but luckily we had many amazing stops such as Hamilton Gardens, Taumarunui school and Ed Hillary walkway. At Hamilton Gardens we did a really a really fun challenge where we went around Hamilton Gardens looking for different things that were on our pieces of paper our team finished second. My favourite garden there was the Ja...
