Summer Learning Journey day 3 Week 1
Team players
Hi bloggers, welcome back to the SLJ for today's activity it asks for us to share what three super powers we would have. Here are the three super powers I would have.
Shape shifting - I chose this because I ave always wanted to be able to become an animals of even an object. You would win every game of hide and seek, You could possibly earn animals rust faster because you are the same animal as them. Also April fools day would be the best day for you because you would be able to scare people by becoming an object the jumping out at them or you could become an animal like a Tiger or a lion and run after people then they would realize it was just you.
Invisibility - Being able to turn invisible would be amazing because you would be able to scare people and go to restricted areas and sneak around looking at everything in the area. If I could turn invisible I would imagine that it would be like the invisibility cloak in Harry Potter but you don't have to carry around the cloak. You could also prank people very easily, they could also think that they were hearing voices or hallucinating. I would steal stuff from my brother as pay back for always annoying me.
Talking to animals - I chose this because I love animals. I also have three cats at home that I would be able to talk to when I get bored or just want to have a chat. You could also get your pet to go and listen into some of your family members or friends to see what they are saying. I would also be able to find out what is happening around the neighborhood whist I am away or at school.
Those are the three superpowers that I would have.
Defying the odds
In this activity we had to choose a basket ball player and right down five questions that you would ask them if you were able to interview them. I decided to choose LeBron James because he is one of my favorite Basketball players. Here are my five questions.
1. When did you and your sister start training for basketball and shot put.
1. When did you and your sister start training for basketball and shot put.
2. What inspired you to start doing sport and why did you decide to choose basketball.
3. When did you play your first basket ball game and what team were you playing for.
4. What was the first sport that you ever played.
5. What has been your best basketball shot that made in during a game.
Achieving our dreams
For this Activity we had to ask a family member or a friend what there dream job. We then had to make a poster or infographic about how you can support or help them. I asked my brother what his dream job was and it is was the CEO of ford. Here is my poster.
Very interesting blog post Zoe. I enjoyed reading your post although I was a bit to much writing. I like how you had detail in your writing and how you described the topic and the activity well. If I had to change anything I would change the colours to make it more eye-catching for the readers. Adding more colours and instead of a google drawing your could add a slide, drawing and more. But apart from that very good Zoe, blog ya later and Merry Christmas and happy new year!!

ReplyDeleteNamaste Zoe,
This is an outstanding post, well done! I love the detail you’ve given in each of these posts. I can tell you’ve put a lot of thought and effort into these activities :)
I love all of your superpowers, they are super creative and you’ve explained why you would want them so clearly! The third one reminded me of a TV programme I used to watch when I was younger called ‘The Wild Thornberrys’ - have you heard of it? It’s about a family who travel the world and their daughter (who is called Eliza too) can talk to animals!
Secondly, the questions you’d ask Lebron James are really thoughtful. I think you’d get some really interesting information from asking those questions!
Thirdly, the poster you’ve made to show how you’d help your brother become the CEO of Ford is clear and informative, great work! I really like that you’ve written what you’re going to do to help your brother achieve these things, it shows you are a caring and supportive sibling! What would you like to do as a job when you’re older?
Ka pai on making a FANTASTIC post Zoe! Keep it up!
Eliza :)
