A friend in paradise novel work

A Friend in Paradise book work

Hi bloggers! In Term One my group, blood bottlers all got novels to read my group got A Friend in Paradise. We also did three pieces of work about the novel to finish which were two different sets of comprehension questions and a describe map about a character. The main character in my book was Robbie. The first set of comprehension questions were questions from chapter one and two and then the second set of comprehension question were from chapter ten and eleven.

Some themes from the book were bravery, because the main character had to face some hard or scary moments but he made it through. Another theme was teamwork because everyone was helping in some part of the story, The last theme I identified was determination because Robbie was determined to defeat the bad people, Richardson, in the book.

I really like the book a friend in paradise because several times it would make you want to keep reading. Overall, I think the book is a very good book. Also, all of the Des Hunt books I have read I always end up really enjoying them, so I was happy that my group got to read another Des Hunt book.

Here are all three of the activity's that we did. Comprehension Questions 1, Comprehension Questions 2, Describe a character.

  1. Hi Zoe!
Cool novel, I had to read Cool for my novel study - that was good but I wish I had read a friend in paradise for my book. I enjoyed how you were really descriptive about your story and how you really explained your thoughts about the book. Maybe next time you should think about adding photo's of the book and describing the book activities more. But apart from that, Fantastic work Zoe. Keep it up! Can't wait till you amazing next blog post.
